Holidays

Please notify the Building Blocks staff if your child will be absent on a scheduled day of attendance. We ask this for two reasons:

• Concern for the health and well being of you and your child
• Maintain a quality program and proper staffing

We will be closed the following days in the 2012 calendar year:

*One floating holiday to be taken based on the calendar for the current year.

Due to fixed costs averaged over a calendar year, there is no reduction in tuition for these holidays. Should one of the holidays fall on a Saturday, the holiday will be observed on the preceding Friday.  If the holiday falls on Sunday, it will be taken on the following Monday. Tuition charges for these holidays will be calculated as though your child were present.  No tuition rebate is given for sick days, family vacation time or days that Building Blocks is closed for holidays, bad weather or circumstances beyond our control. Our overhead does not change when these events occur. Tuition is due on Mondays in order to reserve your child’s place.
